CHI & PARTNERS PLT (formerly known as CHI & CO) is a chartered accountant firm registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), situated in Kubota Sentral Township, Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia. Established by Mr. Chi Chee Woei, the firm originated from the merger of its client base with Ho Yun Kong & Associates (AF 0087), founded in 1992. In July 2020, the firm established a branch office in Labuan. Our commitment to clients is rooted in their trust in our professional integrity and ethical standards. We leverage our expertise across various services, including audit, taxation, secretarial, and accountancy. Regardless of the scale of assignments, we prioritize delivering the same level of professionalism to all clients, treating each with utmost respect and diligence.

About the Founder - Mr. Chi Chee Woei (CA(M), CPA(Aust))


Mr. Chi Chee Woei commenced his professional journey with "Ernst & Young," specializing in auditing advisory services for both Sendirian Berhad and Labuan Companies.


Subsequently, he assumed the role of Financial Controller at "Financial Park Labuan Sdn. Bhd.," a company regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia, overseeing various listed financial institutions. In this capacity, he managed diverse portfolios including shopping malls, event halls, serviced apartments, IOFC apartments, Labuan company office lots, government office lots, luxury condominiums, and corporate funds. This role demanded close collaboration with corporate EXCO members and directors from LFSA, Public Bank Ltd., CIMB Ltd., and other financial institutions, aligning the company's strategic development with the directives of Labuan FSA and local statutory authorities.


Later, he co-managed "Ho Yun Kong & Associates" with a partner, seizing the opportunity to assume control of the audit firm with over 20 years of history. Building on his extensive public practice experience, he continued to lead the esteemed firm following the passing of the partner of "Ho Yun Kong & Associates," leveraging his expertise to offer an expanded range of advisory services.

About Partner - Mrs. Jane Ho Li Oi


Mrs. Jane earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from Curtin University of Technology Australia. She commenced her professional journey at the Kota Kinabalu branch of "Ernst & Young," where she specialized in serving clients across various sectors including timber, plantation, live animal farming, trading, state authorities, and manufacturing. Subsequently, she transitioned to the Labuan branch of "Ernst & Young," continuing her audit career with a focus on Labuan Companies and Oil & Gas related entities.


Following her tenure at "Ernst & Young," Mrs. Jane assumed the role of Head of Finance at Pristine Era Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Labuan Financial Services Authority. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of Labuan International School.


Driven by her passion for public practice, Mrs. Jane joined Ho Yun Kong & Associates, where she has accumulated over a decade of experience in financial audit, taxation, and corporate secretarial practice.
